Our Story
Welcome to Arrietty Studio.
Nestled in the lush landscapes of Chiang Mai, Thailand, Arrietty Studio is an independent orchid nursery and rare plant shop born from a lifelong passion for nature. While our studio officially opened its digital doors in 2025, our journey with plants began long before that. For over 10 years, we have been deeply immersed in growing, studying, and curating botanical specimens.
Founded by two siblings who share a profound love for cultivating greenery, we are a small, dedicated family business. Our focus is on propagating and sourcing rare, extraordinary plants from around the world. Because we are a small team, we believe in quality over quantity. We take our time to nurture each plant, ensuring it is well-established and healthy before it ever leaves our care.
When you shop with us, you are directly supporting a genuine devotion to horticulture. You might even catch a glimpse of our honorary team member—Tony, our adopted calico cat, who loves to supervise the nursery operations!
